Our aim is to make every visit a positive experience and build a lasting relationship of trust with the child and their family.

Cavities and dental restorations

When a cavity develops, our priority is to preserve as much of your natural tooth as possible. We favour a minimally invasive approach, removing only affected tissue and retaining the healthy part of the tooth. Composite restorations, chosen for their aesthetics and precision, restore function and a natural appearance while respecting the tooth’s structure as much as possible.

What this treatment includes

  • Composite fillings in the colour of your teeth
  • Bonded restorations when a tooth is badly damaged
  • Treatment plan explained before we begin

Therapeutic gradient

As aesthetic expectations increase, treatment choices should above all meet a biological priority: preserving as much tissue as possible and limiting invasiveness.

These treatments form a therapeutic gradient, ranging from the least invasive approaches to those that remove the most tooth tissue.

This approach aims to optimise the tooth’s long-term prognosis while making any future interventions easier to carry out.

What this treatment includes

  • Tooth whitening supervised by a professional
  • Shape corrections with composite
  • Veneers, when they are genuinely indicated

Root canal treatment (endodontics)

Endodontics treats the inside of the tooth when the pulp, which contains the nerves and blood vessels, is inflamed or infected. Root canal treatment consists of cleaning, disinfecting and then filling the canals. It is carried out under local anaesthetic, with the aim of keeping the tooth whenever its condition allows. A build-up or a crown may then be needed; the steps are explained to you before treatment.

What this treatment includes

  • Carried out under local anaesthetic
  • An alternative to extracting the tooth
  • The tooth is rebuilt after treatment

Tooth extractions

When a tooth cannot be saved, an extraction may be indicated. We explain the reasons for the procedure and any alternatives before going ahead. The extraction takes place under local anaesthetic. You receive written instructions for the following days, along with follow-up guidance. Whether the tooth needs replacing is discussed according to its position and your situation.

What this treatment includes

  • Extraction under local anaesthetic
  • Written instructions for the following days
  • Replacement discussed from the outset

Bruxism splints and mouthguards

Bruxism is clenching or grinding of the teeth, during sleep or during the day. After an examination, a custom-made splint can be proposed to protect the teeth. The choice of device, such as a Michigan splint, depends on the dental assessment and any jaw pain. A sports mouthguard meets a different need: limiting the consequences of impacts during sport.

What this treatment includes

  • Custom-made bruxism splint
  • Michigan splint depending on the dental assessment
  • Sports mouthguard

Sleep apnoea appliance

Obstructive sleep apnoea requires a medical diagnosis. In some situations, particularly mild to moderate forms, a mandibular advancement device may be considered. Worn at night, it holds the lower jaw forward to keep the airway open. The practice makes this custom appliance in liaison with your doctor. Its suitability and effectiveness must be assessed as part of your follow-up.

What this treatment includes

  • Custom-made mandibular advancement device
  • Indication agreed with your doctor
  • Made following a medical diagnosis
